Happy International Women's Day!

Women are strongest when we cheer each other on.

With support from one another, we have broken glass ceilings and have become even louder than before. Today, we celebrate our strength, beauty, resilience, patience, and all the hard work that we have put in to get ourselves to where we are today.

If you know me, you'll know that there are so many incredible women that I look up to as my source of inspiration. In the spirit of recognising great women who are always chasing the game, here are three women that came to mind, ones who have challenged, shaped, and smashed the status quo.

Kamala Harris

She has taught me that I can be anything if I have the strong will to go against the odds. Whenever I see her on TV, or hear her voice (oh her gorgeous charismatic voice!) I am instantly inspired and would immediately say to myself “I want to be just like her!”. I could go on and on about how I am endlessly inspired by her but one thing that sticks out the most is seeing how happy, confident and comfortable she is in her own skin. I love the way she carries herself and how true to herself she is, truly an inspiration to many - a strong woman who isn't afraid to go after her dreams.

Meghan Markle

I love Meghan more and more every day. For her creativity, her kindness, her advocacy but most of all, I am fuelled by her strength and resilience that we have all had the opportunity to witness amidst a very challenging time for her and her family. She has set the bar for women and mothers everywhere and has taught us that our family, our health, and self-care must always come first, no matter what. She is constantly listening to her heart and following her intuition which I personally believe is so important for every soul to practice. She truly embodies both strength and humility, a voice of truth and reason, and serves as a constant inspiration to me.

Great Thunberg

I absolutely adore Greta for so many reasons. I have the utmost respect for how she stands up for what she believes in and with endless determination, caught the worlds attention when she created a global movement towards a more sustainable future. She has taught me that no matter how old you are, or where you come from, you can change the world. For that, she is my inspiration.

I can go on and on but I would love to hear from you and who your role models are. Share them with me in the comments section below.

Happy International Women's Day. I wish you all the joy, success, abundance, love, and everything you deserve in this world because you are amazing!
